Tools Needed

  • Driver Drill with #2 Phillips Bit
  • 5/16″ Nut Driver
  • 1/4″ Nut Driver
  • Pin Screwdriver

Steps

0:00 | Introduction

0:17 | Step 1: Remove the screws around the top cover, then remove the cover and set aside.

0:27 | Step 2: Locate the control board inside the top of the unit.

0:34 | Step 3: Disconnect all the wires attached to the control board, taking note of their locations.

0:53 | Step 4: Locate and remove the 4 nuts that hold the control board in place.

1:06 | Step 5: Remove the control board from the mounting screws.

1:12 | Step 6: Install the new control board.

1:27 | Step 7: Install the 4 nuts removed in Step 4 to secure the control board. Tighten so the button functions depress correctly, careful not to overtighten.

1:38 | Step 8: Reconnect all the wires removed in Step 3 to the correct locations on the new board.

1:49 | Step 9: Restore power and test the unit for operationality.

1:56 | Step 10: Reinstall the top cover and fasten using the screw removed in Step 1. Return the unit to service.
