  • Driver Drill with #2 Phillips Bit
  • 5/16″ Nut Driver
  • 1/4″ Nut Driver
  • 11/16″ Socket Wrench

Steps

0:00 – Introduction

Replacing Hot Air Element

0:18 | Step 1: Open the unit and remove the heart tunnel assembly exposing the element and blower housing.

0:27 | Step 2: Remove the side panel and locate the element.

0:35 | Step 3: Disconnect the element connections and remove the element by taking off the nuts and washers. Pull the element out from the blower housing and discard it.

0:55 | Step 4: Install the new element through the blower housing, locking it in place with the nuts and washers used in Step 3.

1:11 | Step 5: Reconnect the element connections.

1:17 | Step 6: Restore power and test the unit for operationality.

1:24 | Step 7: Reinstall the side panel and heat tunnel assembly. Return unit to service.

Replacing the Water Element

1:32 | Step 1: Open the unit and remove the heat tunnel assembly. Remove the water pan from the bottom of the unit.

1:46 | Step 2: Locate the element under the water pan, Remove the two screws securing the element in place.

1:53 | Step 3: Pull the element out and remove the wire connections from the element terminals. Discard the old element.

2:02 | Step 4: Install wire connection onto the new element terminals.

2:09 | Step 5: Push the new element back into place, aligning the gasket with the back plate. Secure with screws that were removed in Step 2.

2:15 | Step 6: Reinstall the water pan and fill it with water. Restore power and test unit for operationality.

2:26 | Step 7: Reinstall the heat tunnel assembly and return the unit to service.
